GAPSK

GAPSK General Aptitude Putonghua Shuiping Kaoshi) exams were developed by the authoritative Peking University Institute of Language Education and were approved by the Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Affairs Office of Ministry of Education of China. GAPSK is honored to become a partner of Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) of Ministry of Education of China and be appointed as testing center for their international Chinese tests. As an NGO, GAPSK has committed to promoting the popularization of Chinese Mandarin and Putonghua and help students and adults improve their proficiency and level skill in Hong Kong, Macau and overseas countries since 2006.

GAPSK Language Promotion Council

Being a Non-profit organization, GAPSK Language Promotion Council advocates Mandarin and Chinese education and has organized many large-scale language promotions and cultural exchange activities, including lectures, presentations, training, etc., for many years. Besides that, the Council has cooperated with many parties to promote further the development of language and Chinese culture, which has become an important platform to foster Chinese and Mandarin in Greater China.

Adhering to the purpose of social enterprise, GAPSK is committed to striving for a better world, serving and giving back to the society, advocating and promoting Chinese and Mandarin education, and benefiting the community.

The GAPSK Education Charity Foundation was established in 2013. Through numbers of support projects, scholarships, various types of workshops and cultural exchange programs with China, etc. Foundation promotes the popularization and improvement of the Mandarin education among students and teenagers, so that all students can enjoy equal opportunity of learning and attending the Mandarin courses and activities. We also regularly provide training courses to help new immigrants or families in need, help them to integrate into society as soon as possible and enhance their competitiveness. In 2014, GAPSK was awarded the “18 Districts Caring Employers Award” by the HKSAR Government, praising GAPSK for its commitment to promoting employment of the disabled and helping disadvantaged groups in Hong Kong.

Application Method

 

 

Application Guidelines:

  1. All applications are subject to the final approval of the Foundation. The Foundation reserves the right to make the final decision of the review, and reserves the right to modify the application qualifications without prior notice.
  2. Those who have successfully obtained funding, may need to accept interviews from donors, media such as newspapers, and magazines to introduce the funding and services.
  3. The Foundation reserves the right to upload profiles and photos of funded activities to the Foundation’s website and Facebook page.
  4. If the grantee produces any publicity materials related to the funded project, such as leaflets, posters, souvenirs, banners and backdrops etc., the words “This project is sponsored by the GAPSK Education Charity Foundation” must be stated to acknowledge the Foundation .
  5. Please fill in all the information in the form, otherwise it will affect the progress of the application and approval process.
  6. Upon receipt of the application, the Foundation will process the application accordingly.
